In 2025, the Institute of Citizenship and Globalisation presented Research Awards to academic staff for outstanding performance in four categories.

  • ADI Early Career Researcher Award: Dr Mia Martin Hobbs
  • ADI Mid-Career Researcher Award: Dr Molly McCarthy
  • ADI HDR Supervisor Award: Associate Professor Antonia Pont
  • ADI Research Excellence Award: Professor Stephane Shepherd

The Awards were announced and presented to recipients by Acting Executive Dean, Distinguished Professor Andrea Witcomb at the ten-year celebration of the Institute.
