Congratulations to Alfred Deakin Professor Emma Kowal for being elected as a fellow of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences.
Emma Kowal is an anthropologist and expert in the implications of genomics in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Her work will allow Indigenous Australians to access the benefits of genomics & precision medicine.
