Funding Success – Earvin Charles B. Cabalquinto

Dr Earvin Charles B. Cabalquinto’s project Australian Filipino Community Services has been selected and funded by the Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia (FECCA) as part of the COVID-19 Small Grants Fund. He will be working with Norminda Forteza, the Director of AFCS.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project title is “”Apat ay sapat” (four is adequate) campaign: Combatting vaccine hesitancy among older Filipino-Australians”. It aims to determine the motivations behind and combat vaccine hesitancy among older Filipino-Australians in Victoria, Australia. It will deploy a survey among older Filipino-Australians. It will also develop several workshops to produce creative and co-designed materials among older Filipino-Australians as part of the creative campaign called “Apat ay sapat! (four is adequate)”.
