How a Chinese spy ring was behind NSW Labor preselection interference

Communist Chinese parties have attempted to set up a spy ring to get Labor candidates elected in the upcoming federal election

The plan was squashed by the nation’s counter-espionage agency Australian Security Intelligence Organisation hence preventing the spies from getting the Labor candidates preselected.

Professor at Deakin University Greg Barton has told Mark Levy, “I think this is one these moments where you think behind the curtain”.
