Journal of Citizenship and Globalisation Studies
ADI’s multidisciplinary Open Access journal, the Journal of Citizenship and Globalisation Studies, publishes high-quality, innovative empirical and theoretical papers that examine the complex and often contradictory meanings of citizenship, social inclusion and globalisation at the local, national and transnational levels. The journal seeks to engage with, among other things, notions of community and citizenship, tensions and innovations in contemporary practices of governance, security and democracy and the nexus between discrimination and disparity, and its impact on development and human rights.
Journal of Intercultural Studies
Journal of Intercultural Studies showcases innovative scholarship about emerging cultural formations, intercultural negotiations and contemporary challenges to cultures and identities. It welcomes theoretically informed articles from diverse disciplines that contribute to the following discussions: Reconceptualising notions of nationhood, citizenship and belonging; Questioning theories of diaspora, transnationalism, hybridity and ‘border crossing’, and their contextualised applications; Exploring the contemporary sociocultural formations of whiteness, ethnicity, racialization, postcolonialism and indigeneity; and examining how past and contemporary key scholars can inform current thinking on intercultural knowledge, multiculturalism, race and cultural identity.
