The Governance, Development, and Peace research stream at the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation (ADI) focuses on understanding the complex interplay between governance, development, and peace. - Associate Professor Josh Roose is a political sociologist and Associate Professor of Politics at the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation (ADI), Deakin University.

- Governance Studies: Investigating the structures, processes, and practices of governance at local, national, and global levels.
- Sustainable Development: Examining strategies for sustainable development that balance economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental protection.
- Peace and Conflict Resolution: Analysing the causes of conflict and developing strategies for peace-building and conflict resolution.
