About the Project

The field research for this project is based in East Gippsland and will investigate the questions: (1) what can business sector volunteering contribute to successful community-led disaster preparedness, response and recovery, and resilience; (2) what role does business disaster preparedness play in overall community preparedness and resilience?

Project Team

A team from Deakin University – Assoc/Prof Max Kelly, Dr Dan Mcavoy (SHSS), Mark Duckworth (ADI) and Dr Josh Hallwright (CHL), in partnership with Australian Business Volunteers.

Project Funding

This project is funded by Emergency Management Victoria/National Emergency Management Agency Disaster Ready Fund.
