ADI is delighted to announce that Prof Fazal Rizvi has been appointed to the role of Honorary Professor at the Institute.

For the past ten years, Prof Rizvi has been Professor of Global Studies in Education at the University of Melbourne and Emeritus Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prof Rizvi has also been associated with ADI for many years, having long sat on the Institute’s advisory board.

“Over the past decade, I have served on ADI’s advisory board, and have come to know and admire some of its outstanding work,” Prof Rizvi said.

“It is not only theoretically sophisticated and innovative, but also makes an important contribution to public debates in Australia and elsewhere. As I retire from the University of Melbourne, I hope to be able to participate in ADI’s various activities and contribute to its work in whatever ways I can.”
